Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

SleepyBean is published by IMOTKO DOOEL, 14A 8 Septemvri St., Ohrid, Macedonia. For anything in this policy, write to contact@imotko.mk.

We are the data controller for the limited processing described below.

2. What is stored on your device

SleepyBean saves your preferences locally, using your device's secure storage. This never leaves your phone, we cannot read it, and it is deleted when you uninstall the app.

• ·Whether autoplay is on, and which sound you played last
• ·Whether fade-out is on, and your default playback duration
• ·Your chosen theme colour
• ·Whether you have completed the welcome screen

3. What we do not collect

We want to be specific rather than vague about this, because most apps in this category collect far more.

• ·No account, name, email address or phone number: SleepyBean has no sign-up
• ·No analytics, usage tracking, session recording or crash reporting
• ·No advertising, ad identifiers, or data sold or shared with advertisers
• ·No location data
• ·No microphone access: SleepyBean plays audio, it never records
• ·No access to your contacts, photos, calendar or files

4. Purchases

If you buy the premium upgrade, the payment itself is handled entirely by Apple or Google. We never see or receive your card details, billing address, or full payment record.

To unlock premium features on your device and to let you restore a purchase later, we use RevenueCat as our purchase-management provider. RevenueCat receives a randomly generated app user ID, basic device and platform information, and the purchase receipt issued by the store. This identifier is not linked to your name or email, because we never collect either.

Apple, Google and RevenueCat each handle that data under their own privacy policies.

5. Children

SleepyBean is made to be used around infants, but it is designed for and directed at parents and caregivers, not at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and because the app has no sign-up, no analytics and no advertising, there is nothing collected from a child using it.

The app contains no advertising, no external links and no user-generated content.

6. Permissions

SleepyBean requests only what it needs to play audio, including the ability to keep playing while your screen is locked or the app is in the background. It does not request the microphone, camera, location, or any other sensitive permission.

7. How long data is kept

Your on-device settings are kept until you delete them in the app or uninstall it. Purchase records held by our purchase provider and the app stores are kept for as long as needed to maintain your entitlement and to meet tax and accounting obligations.

8. International transfers

Our purchase provider and the app stores may process the limited purchase data described above on servers outside your country, including in the United States. Those transfers are made under the safeguards those providers put in place, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to receive a copy of it. Because we hold no account data, the fastest route for most requests is simply to uninstall the app, which removes everything stored locally.

For anything relating to purchase data, write to contact@imotko.mk and we will act on your request. You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority. In North Macedonia, that is the Agency for Personal Data Protection.

10. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and publish the new version here before it takes effect.
